All recorded audio and video signals are erased using a magnetic
field twice as powerful as a recorder head.
Quality control for tape dropouts and physical damage.
Checking the mechanical condition of the cassette.
Polishing the tape surface, decreasing wear on recorder heads.
Cleaning the tape surface, minimising contamination of recorder heads.
Old stickers, labels and adhesive residue are removed from each cassette.
The record protection mechanism is reset for further recording.
New labels are inserted with each cassette.
Each cassette box is cleaned and a new inlay card provided.
Cassettes are re-packaged in quantities of ten in new cardboard boxes.
